We only use local storage technologies strictly for technical and performance reasons:
Service Worker & Cache API (Essential / Performance)
Stores website assets (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WebAssembly bundles, and web fonts) so the application loads instantly on repeat visits and works completely offline without an active internet connection.
IndexedDB for AI Neural Models (Client-Side Only)
When using features like our in-browser AI Background Remover, model weights are cached locally inside your browser's private IndexedDB database so you never have to download the model twice.
Local Preferences (Optional)
If enabled in certain tools, simple user preferences (like your preferred image export format or theme) may be saved to localStorage purely for user convenience.
3. What We Strictly Do NOT Use
- No Ad Targeting Cookies: We do not track what tools you use to sell targeted advertisements.
- No Cross-Site Tracking: We do not participate in third-party ad networks or surveillance tracking.
- No Document Fingerprinting: No data about the files you convert or format is ever recorded.
4. How to Manage or Clear Browser Storage
You have full control over all stored data directly in your browser. You can clear cached data anytime:
- Chrome / Edge / Brave: Settings → Privacy and Security → Clear browsing data → Check "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files".
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Clear Data.
